Items Most in Need at Homeless Shelters

The organizations and facilities that run homeless shelters in the Metro Detroit area see their peak demands between December though March. The items most in need at MCREST shelters and its clients, as well as other shelters, include:
- Plastic Zipper Pillow Protectors
- Smoke Detectors
- Bus Tickets
- Washcloths
- Bath towels (No hand towels, please)
- Twin size blankets (No comforters, please)
- Fast Food Gift Certificates
- Gas Cards
- Phone Cards
- Gift certificates
- Socks-Men's and women's
- Men's t-shirts (white - all sizes)
